Who decides what to trash?
It is one thing to disagree with someone else. It’s quite another to tell Americans
what they can and cannot say simply because you disagree with a statement.
Suddenly in this nation we are watching “big tech,” entertainers and extremist politicians dictate to others what the “correct” agenda ought to be. If an alternative viewpoint is expressed, a new movement has emerged to ban these opinions as “dangerous conspiracies,” insurrectionist dialogue, and “messages that incite violence.”
The irony that we are being asked to accept is that those who are imposing
those labels are the ones who are fomenting violence. Do Americans still believe in the right
to be heard?
What is sacred in our country is our right to disagree—peacefully, in non-violent ways. Our right to free speech is worth defending.
