IBERIAN TIES was the first in a Trilogy that Quintin is writing.

The second book THE UNRAVELING, published in April 2021, 

will be followed by the last in the trilogy, coming in the Spring, 

2022. In addition, to being a writer, he also had a successful career as 

professor and dean in various American universities. Somehow he also found time to establish a firm that prepared immigrants to enter and succeed in the international workforce.  His work impacted leadership development for various domestic and international private industries, non-profit organizations, and higher education.

 

Because his professional interests had an international scope, he dedicated much time abroad. A favorite place which he impacted—and obviously impacted him—was Spain. More particularly, he fell in love with the Canary Islands, which serves as the main setting for Iberian Ties, his first international thriller.

 

His academic writings served as a resource for the landmark De Funis v. Odegaard and Bakke v. University of California, Davis Supreme Court legal decision. Other pieces were highlighted in various publications, including the Journal of Research and Development in Education, the National Commission on Testing and Public Policy, and the Journal of Thought. 

 

As an academic, he served as dean and provost at various universities, including DePaul University in Chicago, the University of Texas, San Antonio, and St. Edward’s University. Throughout his career, he was single-minded in his efforts to improve the link between social responsibility and education.
